Thomas Nicholas Band
Thomas Nicholas Band is a United States group centred on Thomas Ian Nicholas. Nicholas is an American actor, film producer and singer, and the project draws on his work as a recording artist as well as his screen career.
Background
Thomas Ian Nicholas is best known for playing Henry Rowengartner in Rookie of the Year, Walt Disney in Walt Before Mickey, and Kevin Myers in the American Pie film series. He also appears in the 2021 film Adverse with Mickey Rourke.
Recordings and releases
Under his own name, Nicholas self-releases a series of recordings that begin with Without Warning, followed by Without Warning Acoustic, Heroes Are Human, a self-titled EP, and the EP Security. The single “My Generation” from the self-titled EP also appears on the American Reunion soundtrack album.
In 2015, Nicholas contributes to Blues Traveler’s album Blow Up the Moon as a co-writer on “All the Way”. In 2022, he releases the single “1999”, a parody of Bowling for Soup’s “1985”.
