Thomas Newson

Thomas Newson is a Dutch EDM and house artist from the Netherlands. He receives support from artists including Hardwell, Avicii, Tiësto, W&W and Afrojack, and he is associated with releases on labels such as Musical Freedom and Armada.

In 2013, he releases two records that both reach Beatport’s top 10, an uncommon achievement for a young artist. One of these is “Flute”, a collaboration with New World Sound that gains wide radio play and is noted for its use of a flute sound within dance music. Another release, “Pallaroid”, attracts attention after being premiered by Hardwell at Tomorrowland and is identified by Billboard’s Code as the best moment of the festival.

His work centres on electronic dance music with a house orientation, and he is presented as an artist pushing and shaping that sound through high-profile collaborations and label releases.
