This Morn' Omina is a Belgian industrial and tribal ambient group from Roeselare, active since 1996. It is formed by Mika Goedrijk and Nicolas Van Meirhaeghe.

Style and sound

The project works in rhythmic noise and technoid forms, and is also described as ritual trance and tribal industrial. Its music draws on dark psytrance as well as tribal, ritualistic and ethnic elements, which become more pronounced in later releases. The group is associated with ambient, EBM, electronic and industrial music.

Background

Mika Goedrijk forms the project in 1996 and also works in other acts including Powder Pussy, Nebula-H, Andraculoid and Project Arctic. This Morn' Omina moves from the post-industrial label Ant-Zen to Dependent.
