This Is Divine

This Is Divine are a five-piece post-metalcore group from Newcastle, England. Their sound combines a heavy, technical instrumental approach with shouted and screamed vocals. The group’s first EP, Broadcast, is recorded while the band is still less than a year old and is described as well received. A later EP, These Human Ruins, is due to be recorded in February 2010.

The band plays with acts including The Arusha Accord, A Textbook Tragedy, The Casino Brawl and Exit Ten. One song, Dear Armourer, is singled out as a set highlight, and the opening line of My Name, Is Apollo is noted as a chant-back moment for audiences.
