These Septic Stars are an experimental alternative five-piece group from Southampton on the south coast of the United Kingdom. Their music combines metal, heavy funk, progressive structures and electronic sampling, with vocals that mix rap, higher-register singing and some screaming.

The band is often compared to Rage Against the Machine, Primus, Incubus and Limp Bizkit. Its line-up and approach centre on creating fusions of sound in songwriting, with an emphasis on a modern take on alternative music.

Over four years, the group tours with live EDM act UKID, appears at major UK festivals, supports a range of international acts, and plays headline shows in venues and clubs across the counties. It releases two EPs and later begins work on a debut album, They Were Already Dead When We Got Here, a 12-track record that draws on the band’s live experience and continues its established sound.
