Theo Altieri is a singer-songwriter and producer from Swindon, United Kingdom. He works in folk, indie and alternative styles, and is also associated with home recording.

Career

He is championed by BBC Introducing from his early teens. He first gains attention for his use of a loop pedal and for building layered live arrangements. An early collaboration with local rapper Daine Angel leads to a Record of the Week slot on BBC 1Xtra and a live session at Maida Vale.

Altieri is signed to Warner Chappell publishing and performs with a live band. He plays gigs alongside artists including Babyshambles, Tribes, Wolf Alice, Helsinki, The Coronas, George Ezra and fellow Swindon band Colour The Atlas.

Recognition and releases

Amazing Radio names him Best Unsigned Male Artist, and he is shortlisted for Glastonbury Emerging Talent in 2015. His songs include “Little Fun”, “Get Along” and “Hanging On A Hook”, with “Hanging On A Hook” reaching number one on Amazing Radio’s chart.
