Thelma Plum is an Indigenous Australian singer-songwriter from Delungra and Brisbane, and is based in Melbourne. Born in 1993, she works in folk pop and indie pop.

Career

She graduates from the Music Industry College in Brisbane. Her debut EP, Rosie, appears in 2013, followed by a second EP, Monster, in 2014. Her debut album, Better in Blak, appears in 2019.

Recognition and activity

Plum wins Triple J’s National Indigenous Music Awards competition in 2012. She is also nominated for a Deadly award in the Most Promising New Talent in Music category and for an Unearthed J Award. She tours around Australia and receives national rotation on Triple J.
