The Zombie Kids

The Zombie Kids are a Spanish DJ and production duo from Spain, made up of Edgar Candel Kerri and Cumhur Jay. They work in electro, electronic and dubstep, and are known as a live act.

Members and background

Edgar Candel Kerri comes from Barcelona and is born in 1979. His musical background is shaped mainly by rock, hardcore and punk. Cumhur Jay is from Turkey and is born in 1980, with influences from hip-hop, house, soul and funk. The pair come from different musical backgrounds, which feeds into the group’s sound.

Club Zombie

The Zombie Kids create and run their own club night, Club Zombie. It takes place in Madrid and draws around 1,500 people, first running on Wednesday nights and later on Friday nights. The night is held at Sala Heineken, later known as Sala Marco Aldany.
