The Wounded Kings
The Wounded Kings are a doom metal group from Dartmoor, England, formed in 2005 and active until 2016. They are associated with the United Kingdom and release music on Candlelight Records. Their sound is described as a mix of spectral doom and psychedelic horror, with a desolate, end-of-the-world atmosphere and heavy use of space, eerie choirs and pianos alongside slow riffs.

The band’s members include Steve Mills on guitars, piano and organ, Sharie Neyland on vocals, Alex Kearney on guitars, Jim Willumsen on bass, and Mike Heath on drums.

The Wounded Kings’ discography includes Embrace of the Narrow House in 2008, The Shadow Over Atlantis in 2010, An Introduction to the Black Arts, a split with Cough, also in 2010, and In the Chapel of the Black Hand in 2011.
