The Wildes are an Australian country and rock and roll act formed in 2008. Their music is described as drawing on strong storytelling, and it is compared with artists such as The Bad Seeds, The Waterboys, Steve Earle and Tom Waits.

Debut album

Their debut album, Ballad of a Young Married Man, appears in Australia in April 2009 and receives attention from Australian music press and radio. The record is also scheduled for release in the UK and USA later that year.
