The Wild

The Wild is a folk punk band from Atlanta, Georgia. Their music is described as using jangly guitars and rolling narratives, and their debut EP is noted for its warm-weather feel. The band is also involved in running The Wonderroot in Atlanta, a community centre that offers a low-cost or free recording studio, darkroom, computer lab, library, conference room and an all-ages performance space for visiting bands.

The Wonderroot also serves local young people, and the group’s work there is part of their wider connection to Atlanta’s music community. The band is associated with Quote Unquote Records.
