The White Room

The White Room

The White Room are an alternative rock group from Australia, originally formed in Melbourne, Victoria. The band begins under the name Plunja, and the first lineup centres on brother and sister Marc Collis and Steph Collis. Marc Collis is the lead vocalist and guitarist, while Steph Collis plays drums and provides backing vocals.

Formation and line-up

As children, Marc and Steph Collis encourage their friend Ben Jarvis to learn guitar so that he can join the group. In 1998, the three teenagers expand the band by adding a bass player, eventually choosing Barry Brauer. Marc Collis is the only member named in the verified facts, and the group remains active from 1998 to 2007.

Releases

The White Room release their debut album, White Room Music, in 2006. Soon afterwards, the group splits up in 2007.
