The Webb
The Webb are a Wirral-based group working in electro and gothic rock, with a sound described as goth-electronica-punk and spacerock. The band begins in 2012, when Marc and Becki build a small home studio and start the project there. Their approach is rooted in DIY methods, and they also film and edit their own videos.
Line-up and roles
The lineup centres on Marc and Becki, with Marc also known as Rag and as an ex-member of MDM. Marc handles drums, keyboards, bass, guitar and vocals, while Becki provides vocals. Becki also contributes lyrics, artwork, props and ideas. The band includes “quite a few others” as part of the wider line-up.
Style and releases
The Webb work within first-wave goth and electro-punk revival territory, with a quirky and experimental edge. They are associated with Gothic World Records.
