The Unwanted

The Unwanted is a UK punk band from London, active from 1977 to the present. It forms in mid-March 1977 after a meeting between Ollie Wisdom, who runs a clothes shop on King’s Road, and Mark Curzon, a student at a private educational establishment. The band is a punk act associated with the punk 77 era.

Its line-up includes Olli Wisdom. Two members later join the Psychedelic Furs.

Recordings

The band records a cover of “These Boots Are Made for Walking” as the B-side of “Secret Police” on Raw in 1978. Other tracks associated with the group include “Freedom”, “Bleak Outlook” and “1984”.
