The Treacherous Orchestra are a generation of Scotland's finest musicians. Formed originally to play the Celtic Connections Festival Club, Glasgow, UK in 2004 the personnel are known for playing in most of Scotland's well known Folk/World acts.

John Somerville (Box Club, Rule of Three) on accordion; Kevin O' Neill (Samling) on flute & whistles; Bo Jingham (of Alvie Estate) on flute & whistles; Adam Sutherland (Peatbog Faeries) on fiddle; Innes Watson (Rule of Three) on fiddle & vocals; Ali Hutton (Old Blind Dogs) on pipes and whistles; Ross Ainslie (Salsa Celtica, Dougie MacLean Band) on pipes & whistles; Éamonn Coyne (Salsa Celtica) Banjo & Mandolin; Spad Reid (Lauren MacColl, Samling) on Electric Guitar; Mike Bryan (Box Club) on Acoustic Guitar; Duncan Lyall on double bass; Paul Jennings (Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers) on drums; Fraser Stone (Old Blind Dogs).
The Treacherous Orchestra aim to release their debut album early 2010.
