The Supernovas
The Supernovas are a four-piece band from Holloway Road in North London. They form when the members are 16 and play together across the country. Their live dates include the Garage, Rhythm Factory, the Marquee and Bournemouth Opera House.
The band performs alongside Babyshambles, The Others, Infadels, The Holloways and Larrikin Love. In January 2009 they sign with 360 Degree Music.
Their sound is often compared with the Buzzcocks and the Jam. The band also cites the political attitudes of Castro and Chavez, along with the irony of Morrissey and the observational style of Lennon, as influences.
