The Stevedores

The Stevedores are an American alternative rock band that begins in New York City and later relocates to Madison, Wisconsin, where the group is based. The line-up includes Jake Miller, Adam Webb-Orenstein, Ben Johnson and Shawn Fernando. The band’s first full-length album is Tamuawok., which is recorded over the course of October 2005 to May 2006.

Spencer Bell serves as the band’s lead singer and lyricist until his death from adrenal cancer in 2006.
