The Stand

The Stand

The Stand is an American power pop group from Los Angeles. It is active from 1980 to the present and consists of Rick Dettman, Dave Fish, Gary Gerhart and Tony Valenziano.

The name also appears on a number of other acts, including a hardcore band from Lausanne, Switzerland, a Welsh four-piece featuring members of Super Furry Animals, Funeral For a Friend and Catatonia, a melodic hard rock group active in the Chicago area from 1996 to 2001, and a progressive power metal band from Nashville that releases a self-titled EP in 1988.
