The Spare Room is the songwriting project of Louis Doyle, an alternative singer-songwriter born in 1988. It is also presented as an open collective: anyone can join in and contribute, with the idea compared to a school music assembly, but with instrumental specialists taking part.

The project is associated with a self-titled debut album, The Spare Room, which is part of its recorded output.
