The Slow Show are a Manchester-based UK indie pop band, active since 2010. The group consists of GOODWIN and Frederik 't Kindt.

Background and sound

The band’s debut EP, Midnight Waltz, uses a colliery-style brass band sound, which gives their music an added layer. Their songs also draw on a wide range of influences, including the work of Neil Young, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan.

Releases and activity

The Slow Show release their debut album, White Water, in 2015. They are also associated with Haldern Pop Recordings, a label based in Germany.

Reception and touring

Outside the UK, the band is particularly well known in Germany, as well as the Netherlands and Switzerland, based on the number of concerts they play in those countries.
