The Skarsoles

The Skarsoles are a ska rock band from Scotland, formed in Greenock in 1999. The group plays in a ska-based style that sits alongside reggae, ska-punk and two tone influences.

Line-up

The current lineup includes Jim Lochlan on vocals, Dave Orr on bass and vocals, Iain MacDuff on guitar and vocals, Denis McClafferty on guitar, Kenny Linn on drums, Graeme Gray on trumpet and keys, and Will Kerr on trombone. The band has had many previous members.

Background

Chris Rossi is the founding lead singer, and in August 2011 he steps down from the role. Jim Lochlan moves from bass to lead vocals, with Dave Orr taking over on bass. The band is known for energetic live performances and banter between songs.
