The Shackles
The Shackles are a Seattle band associated with punk, indie pop and power pop. One line-up releases a single titled Broken Arm b/w Funeral Shroud on Sweet Rot Records in 2009. The members listed for this group are Jim Jamez, Carlos Slopez, Rubers Mendez and Cathy Flowpez.
A separate Dutch indie-rock band with the same name forms in 2004 and records the EP On a Friday Morning, Romeo Gets His single Lady Without Getting Roxanne Down. That group’s line-up includes Suzanne Heykoop on lead vocals, Peer Thielen on guitar and vocals, Vian Paashuis on guitar, Benno Kruit on double bass and vocals, and Fabian Dophemont on drums.
