The Saboteurs

The Saboteurs are an alternative rock group from Detroit, United States, active since 2005. In Australia, they are known as The Saboteurs; elsewhere they are known as The Raconteurs.

Line-up and associated acts

The group consists of Jack White on vocals and guitar, Brendan Benson on vocals and guitar, Jack Lawrence on bass, and Patrick Keeler on drums. They describe themselves as a new band made up of old friends.

White is also a member of The White Stripes and, with Lawrence, The Dead Weather. Benson works as a solo singer-songwriter. Lawrence and Keeler are also members of The Greenhornes.

Releases

The band releases three albums: Broken Boy Soldiers, Consolers of the Lonely, and Help Us Stranger.

Dean Fertita of The Waxwings plays live keyboards for the group in 2006. He also plays in Brendan Benson's band, tours with Queens Of The Stone Age, and is a member of The Dead Weather with White and Lawrence.
