The Royal Blasphemy are a hard rock band from Lisboa, Portugal, active since 2011. The group’s line-up includes Johnny Coroa on guitar and backing vocals, Jota on drums, Tiago Borges on vocals and bass guitar, and John Cyaegha on guitars. Sergio Melo also appears as a guitarist in the group’s later line-up.

History and membership

The band forms in 2011. The listed members include João Coelho, known as Jota, on drums; Johnny Coroa, also credited as Johnny Pi, on guitars; Sergio Melo on guitars; and Tiago Borges, also known as The Red Baron and Le Baron Rouge, on bass and vocals. Earlier membership also includes Mr. V. on guest vocals in 2011 and Mr. John Cyaegha on guitars from 2011 to 2017.

The Royal Blasphemy’s discography includes the 2011 EP Prelude for Idiocrazy, the 2012 single Corruption, the 2014 single No Future, the 2015 studio album Sanatorium: Freedom, the 2015 promo single Injustice, and the 2017 compilation The Lost Takes.
