The Revellers

The Revellers are a Scottish seven-piece group from Shetland. They form around fiddle- and banjo-led melodies with a heavy rock middle section, and they play both original material and their own versions of traditional favourites. Their sound draws on a wide range of influences, from Lau to Metallica.

The band gets together in Shetland and becomes known for fast, energetic performances and dramatic stage antics. It also becomes the first act to sell out Mareel. Its debut album is Renegades.
