The Resisters

The Resisters are a group from Austria associated with electro pop. Their activity begins in 1977, and they remain known for a short period of work lasting around four or five years.

The line-up includes Susy Barry of The Innocents on drums. The group plays gigs connected to rights-based causes, including Rock Against Racism, squatters’ rights, claimants’ unions and women’s rights. They also appear at Stonehenge and the Notting Hill Carnival, and they tour Germany in an old ambulance.
