The Remedy
The Remedy is a UK group from Horsham, active since 2021. The name is also used in connection with more than one musical project in the available material: one is a hard rock band from the Black Country, and another is an indie pop producer and singer.
Hard rock band
As a band, The Remedy plays hard rock with sleazy and hard-hitting influences, and is also tagged with uplifting rock, indie and punk. The group’s line-up includes Tommy Strix on lead vocals, Chris Hingley on guitar and vocals, Josh Handley on guitar and vocals, Jake Godsall on bass, and Greg Hingley on drums. The band releases a debut EP titled Stick To Your Guns.
Indie pop producer and singer
The name The Remedy is also used by an indie pop music producer and singer whose work blends electronic, indie pop, reggae-dancehall and deep house. This project is described as having a feel-good style and is influenced by Kanye West, Jon Bellion, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Drake and Bastille. It includes the single yeux bleus and the EP sagittarius, which appears on Bandcamp.
