The Relationships

The Relationships are an Oxford, UK group associated with tweedy psychedelia. They are active from 1994 to the present.

Albums and releases

They release four albums: Trend, Scene, Space and Phase. Their first album, Trend, comes out on Twee Kitten of California, which also issues their first EP, Country Catalogue. Their second album, Scene, appears on Trailer Star Records in 2005. Space follows in 2009, and Phase appears in 2013 on Big Red Sky Records of Oxford. The group also records a fifth album for release later.

Guest appearances and lineup

Trend features guest appearances from Amelia Fletcher, known for Talulah Gosh, Heavenly and Marine Research, and Andy Bell, known for Ride and Oasis.

The lineup is Richard Ramage on vocals and guitar, Andy Smith on bass, Angus Stevenson on guitar, and Tim Turan on drums. Ramage is also associated with the Anyways and Here Comes Everybody; Smith with the Bigger the God; Stevenson with Razorcuts and Here Comes Everybody; and Turan has many previous groups.
