The Rebel is the solo project of Ben Wallers, a punk artist from St Albans, United Kingdom, born in 1971. It presents a more keyboard- and drum machine-led approach than his better-known work with Country Teasers.

The project is associated with experimental, lo-fi, noise rock, electronic and avant-garage styles. It functions as Wallers’ personal “farm team” band, using a leaner electronic setup rather than the fuller band format of his other work.
