The Rattlebacks are a UK hard rock band from Surrey, active since 2018. The band forms around Coxy on rhythm guitar and Max on lead guitar, who have known each other from birth. Their line-up is finalised in 2021.

The band develops a hard rock sound that draws on earlier rock acts while aiming to push beyond standard sub-genres. They build a loyal following across the South East of England through sold-out headline shows and have also begun to attract industry attention.

The Rattlebacks record their debut album at Lightship 95 with producer Dave Holmes. They also plan an EP and have a strong reputation as a live act, with performances built around a high-energy stage presence that includes guitar smashing and stage diving.
