The Railsplitters

The Railsplitters are a five-piece folk and bluegrass group from Boulder, Colorado. The line-up includes Lauren Stovall on lead vocals and guitar, Dusty Rider on banjo, Peter Sharpe on mandolin, Joe D’Esposito on fiddle, and Jean-Luc Davis on double bass, with all five members contributing harmonies.

The group focuses on genre-bending compositions and live performances. Their music draws on a wide range of influences, extending from hip-hop to samba as well as folk and bluegrass. They release studio albums with fan support, and their audience has crowdfunded all three of their studio albums.
