The Plague is a US rap collective associated with New York hip hop. Its line-up includes Archrival, The Bad Seed, DJ DP One, GMS, Kameel-Yen, LR Blitzkrieg, MC Jin, Mecca, Keith “WildChild” Middleton, PackFM, Pumpkinhead, Session, Substantial and Tonedeff. The group also includes HYDRA members GMS, Blitzkreig and Wildchild, and is linked to the wider QN5-associated circle of artists.

Style and membership

The group is identified as a collective rather than a conventional single-artist project, with multiple emcees and collaborators involved. Its membership reflects a broad underground rap roster rather than a fixed band format.

Other uses of the name

The name The Plague is used by several unrelated acts, including garage, punk, gothic/death-rock, metal and post-punk groups from different countries and decades. Those projects are separate from the US rap group.
