The Pale White

The Pale White are an indie rock trio from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The group forms in 2015, after Adam Hope returns from London to Newcastle in March of that year and begins developing songs with his younger brother Jack Hope, who plays drums. Long-time friend Tom Booth later joins on bass, completing the line-up.

The band takes its name from the idea of a pale white light that people are said to see before death. Their early output includes the demos Let You Down and Second Place, and they build a local following through sold-out shows in Newcastle.

The Pale White also play support slots with bands including Band of Skulls and Maximo Park. Their debut single, Reaction, is released through Ignition 45s and is produced by Adrian Bushby, whose credits include work with Muse and Foo Fighters.
