The Optimists

The Optimists

The Optimists are a UK punk band. The name is used by more than one group, including a band that emerges from Haydon School near London and is made up of three friends. Another version of the group forms in late summer 2006 after first using a false band name, and records a first demo in early 2007. That demo contains three tracks with different styles, and includes the song “Fall Asleep”, which is singled out as the strongest track. The band is described as playing with high intensity and attracting attention from several labels.
