The Oh Hellos are an American folk rock group from San Marcos, Texas, active since 2011. The group consists of Maggie Heath, Tyler Heath and Austin Norman.

Formation and early releases

The band records and produces its own music. Maggie Heath and Tyler Heath first release their self-titled EP, The Oh Hellos EP, in 2011, recorded in a cluttered bedroom. Their debut album, Through the Deep, Dark Valley, follows in 2012.

Style and influences

Their sound combines elements of folk rock and related indie styles. Named influences include Los Campesinos!, The Lumineers, Sufjan Stevens and The Middle East, and their music blends these references into an eclectic folk rock approach.
