The New Piccadillys

The New Piccadillys are a four-piece beat group from Glasgow, Scotland. Their music combines a 1960s beat sound with a 1970s punk rock sensibility, built around twanging guitars, pounding drums and close-harmony versions of rock ’n’ roll material from different eras.

The group plays cover versions of songs such as The Ramones’ “Judy Is a Punk” and other rock ’n’ roll and garage-influenced material, giving them a fast, tight and stripped-back treatment. Their repertoire draws on rockabilly, punk and garage rock as well as beat music.
