The Natives
The Natives are a reggae group from Kingston, Jamaica, associated with Trojan Records. One of their best-known songs is “You You”, which appears on the Trojan Rocksteady Box Set. The group is also described as a rocksteady act.
The name is also used by other acts in different genres, including an Americana band from Bloomington, Indiana; an indie and punk five-piece from Harrow, London; and a hip-hop and rap collective from Long Beach, California.
