The Murlocs
The Murlocs are an Australian blues rock and garage rock group from Geelong, Australia. Active since 2011, they are signed to Flightless and are known for a sound that combines rock with elements of R&B.
Line-up
The band includes Ambrose Kenny-Smith on vocals and harmonica, Callum Shortal on guitar, Cook Craig on bass guitar, Tim Karmouche on keyboards, and Matt Blach on drums. The group is also associated with Mladen Milinkovic and Jamie Harmer.
Style and releases
Kenny-Smith’s distorted harmonica is a key part of the band’s sound. The Murlocs have released seven studio albums. Several members also play in other bands linked to Flightless, including King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, ORB and Beans.
