The Morning After is a UK melodic metalcore group active since 2005. The band is based in the United Kingdom and is listed as a group with Sam Ryder as a member. Formation and lineup

The Morning After forms in Malang in 2002 with Bambang Iswanto on vocal and guitar, Akhmad Sya’ban Nasution on bass and Onny Maretino Nugroho on drums. Pramudya Ananta joins on guitar in 2004 before the band enters the recording studio for its first album. The group develops from a high school band called Mayonaise Punch, with two members remaining from that earlier lineup. The name changes to The Morning After after being quoted from a Dutch article, and the band says none of the members knows the meaning of the name, but it is easy to remember and say.
