The McMash Clan are a UK-based three-person DJ group made up of Dudgy, Hallmark and Majorkooms. They form in 2005 and focus on DJing as a performance art, with sets built around detailed technical control and tightly arranged transitions.

Performance style

The trio use four turntables, a CDJ, two mixers and effects units. Their sets are carefully planned in advance and rely on cutting, scratching, juggling, triple drops and re-edits. They are known for turntablist rave performances that move through drum and bass, breaks, dubstep, techno, hardcore, electro, gabba, jungle, hip hop, reggae, breakcore and psytrance.

Musical identity

Their sound sits across dubstep, electronic, drum and bass, breakcore and turntable-based dance music, with an emphasis on technical mixing and rapid changes in style. The group describe their work through long-form, structured DJ journeys rather than improvised club sets.
