The Marmozets
The Marmozets are a rock band from Bingley, West Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom. They form in 2006 and perform as a five-piece group made up of Rebecca Macintyre on vocals, Jack Bottomley on guitar, Sam Macintyre on guitar and vocals, Will Bottomley on bass and vocals, and Josh Macintyre on drums. Their sound is associated with math rock, mathcore and post-hardcore.
Releases
The band releases their first EP, Passive Aggressive, in 2011, followed by Vexted in 2012. They sign to Roadrunner Records in 2013 and issue the singles Born Young and Free and Move, Shake, Hide that year. In 2014 they release Why Do You Hate Me? and their debut album, The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets.
Later work
In 2017 the band releases Play, the first single from their second album, and the track is used as one of the official themes for the NXT TakeOver: WarGames specials. They also release Habits, along with Major System Error and Run with the Rhythm, before issuing their second album, Knowing What You Know Now, in 2018.
