The Marauders

The name The Marauders is used by several separate groups, including a Pennsylvania punk rockabilly band, a New Jersey wizard rock band and a New Orleans funeral jazz ensemble.

Pennsylvania punk rockabilly band

The Pennsylvania group debuts in 2001 and features Ben Dumm on guitar and vocals, Chris Lawson on upright bass and backup vocals, and Abe Weber on drums and backup vocals. Its last album, The Marauders, appears in 2006. Ben Dumm later starts Ben Dumm and the Deviants.

New Jersey wizard rock band

Another act using the same name is a New Jersey wizard rock band.

New Orleans funeral jazz ensemble

A further Marauders project is a New Orleans-inspired funeral jazz ensemble. It uses slow, atmospheric compositions that combine brass instrumentation with post-apocalyptic storytelling, ambient textures and subtle electronic decay. Its debut album, Curtains for the Orchestra, appears in 2026.
