The Loud

The Loud are a UK garage-glam band. They follow a self-released sampler from 2010 with their debut mini-album, Harris Shutter, issued through Liverpool independent label Payper Tiger Records. The record is produced by Ross Halden, who has worked with Wild Beasts and The Lucid Dream, and mastered in Los Angeles by Dave Cooley of Light In The Attic Records, whose credits include The Black Angels and Serge Gainsbourg.

The band’s lead single, Amy’s Gonna Get You, appears on limited edition vinyl and is described as a glam-heavy track. It is accompanied by a video shot by Dominic Francis Foster, and by a dub remix from Joe Edwards and Greg Mighall, who are formerly of The Rascals and The Little Flames. The release is presented as a move into new territory for the group.
