The Loose Cannons

The Loose Cannons are an electronic DJ and production duo from London, United Kingdom, made up of Kaiser Saucy and Lord Fader. They begin in South London and build a reputation as club DJs, radio broadcasters and live party acts with a focus on house-oriented electronic music.

Career and performances

The duo plays a wide range of events in the UK and internationally, including club nights, student parties and large festival and brand events. Their appearances include the E4 Skins house party in London, the Australian Music Awards in Sydney, events aboard Armani’s yacht in Monte Carlo, student parties in New York, Manumission in Ibiza, Exit in Serbia and an exhibition event in Singapore. They also play at major UK festivals including Glastonbury, V Festival, Lovebox and Glade.

Radio 1 presenter Rob Da Bank describes them as party DJs and names them as Bestival after-party DJs of choice. In the UK, their show on Kiss wins a Specialist Award at the Sony Radio Awards in its first year and later increases its audience share.

Releases, remixes and label work

The Loose Cannons work on remixes for Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Timbaland, Katy Perry and the Sugababes. They also work on a new studio album and live show, and set up their own label, with preview tracks and DJ mixes appearing under the Govt Records name. They have forthcoming mixes for Hot Pink Delorean and Potty Mouth Records.

Style and collaborations

The duo develops a reputation for identifying and supporting new club artists, including Hervé, Kissy Sell Out, Sinden, Space Cowboy, Boy 8-Bit, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Foamo and others.
