The Loners

The Loners are a two-piece garage-rock group from Raleigh, North Carolina, with guitar and drums as their core setup. They are also associated with the name Samotari.

The band’s music is written by Jan P. Muchow, who also performs as a member of Ecstasy of Saint Theresa. Their best-known song is “Lucky boy”, which Muchow writes at home and records the same evening in the same place.

The name The Loners also refers to a film by Peter Zelenka, described as a comedy about Czech cannabis smokers.
