The Living Tombstone

The Living Tombstone is an electronic music group from Israel, active since 2011. It begins as a YouTube-based project started by Yoav Landau, and later develops into a joint project with Sam Haft. The group’s members are Sam Haft, Yoav Landau and TwentyTen.

Origins and membership

Yoav Landau is from Tel Aviv, Israel, and produces original music and remixes. He starts the project in 2011 through its YouTube channel. Sam Haft is an actor and writer from London, England, and joins as a vocalist, contributing rap vocals on newer songs as well as singing. The project is also associated with TwentyTen, and Yoav Landau is formerly part of the band Twenty Ten.

Style and work

The Living Tombstone works across alternative rock, dance, drum and bass, dubstep, EDM and electronic music. Yoav Landau’s style is described as experimental and influenced by rock and EDM. The project is also referred to by Sam Haft as an internet band, while the channel describes it as a musical project.

Community and collaborations

In its earlier period, the project produces a large amount of fan music connected to the brony community. It also collaborates with artists in that scene, including Mic The Microphone and WoodenToaster.
