The Liberty Ship

The Liberty Ship is an indie pop group from Nottingham, United Kingdom, led by Marc Elston, who is the band’s lead vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. Elston was previously one half of Bulldozer Crash, an indie pop noise duo active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In The Liberty Ship he forms a full band and continues in an indie pop direction, with a sound described as reminiscent of The Byrds.
