The Kathryn Tickell Band
The Kathryn Tickell Band is an English folk and Celtic group formed in 1990 by Kathryn Tickell, a player of the Northumbrian smallpipes and fiddle. The band is centred on instrumental music and is associated with Northumbrian traditions.
Line-up
The group includes Kathryn Tickell on Northumbrian pipes and fiddle, and Ian Stephenson on guitar and acoustic bass guitar. Earlier line-ups also include Peter Tickell on fiddle and guitar, Julian Sutton on melodeon, and Joss Clapp on guitar and acoustic bass guitar.
