The Japanese House

The Japanese House is the solo project of Amber Bain, a singer and songwriter from Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Born in 1995, Bain works in styles including dream pop, electropop, indie pop, indie rock, indietronica and pop, with the project also associated with indie pop, electronic, dream pop, indie and art pop.

Releases

Her debut EP, Pools to Bathe In, is produced with George Daniel and Matthew Healy of The 1975. Bain releases her debut album, Good at Falling, in 2019.
