The Inspector Cluzo are a French rock duo from Mont-de-Marsan, France, active since 2008. The group consists of Mathieu Jourdain and Laurent Lacrouts, and releases music on Fuckthebassplayer Records.

Style and sound

Their music combines rock and funk, with a strong emphasis on groove and a loud, high-energy live sound. The duo format is central to their identity: they perform with just guitar and drums, yet are described as creating a fuller and louder sound than a larger band. Early recording and collaborators

The Inspector Cluzo’s first album is produced at Jet Studio in Brussels by Stephane Kraemer, who has also worked with Yann Tiersen, Jack The Ripper, Watcha and Pleymo. The record also features contributions from Fishbone vocalist Angelo Moore and bassist Norwood Fisher. Among the songs mentioned from that release are “Mad” and the acoustic track “Change”.
